PingPolls vs Jotform: Which Form Builder Fits Post-Purchase Feedback?

A fair comparison for CRM and community teams who put a QR code in the package and want buyers to answer a few quick questions.

Bagas leads CRM and community at a consumer brand that sells mostly through marketplaces. The marketplace keeps the buyers' contact details, so when a buyer does not reorder, he has no direct way to ask why. His plan is a small card in every package with a QR code that opens a short feedback form, with a warranty registration and an optional WhatsApp opt-in at the end for buyers who want to hear from the brand. Jotform is a name his team already knows, so before he picks PingPolls he wants a fair view of both. Every Jotform fact here comes from Jotform's own pages, checked on 6 November 2026 and listed under Sources.

A form that works with one thumb

A buyer who scans a QR code is standing in their kitchen with a box in one hand, so the form has to work with one thumb. Jotform's Card forms are built for this, since they show one question at a time, and Jotform itself recommends Classic forms when you need many fields or advanced customization.

PingPolls always works one question at a time, in a chat-like flow. Each question arrives as a bubble, choices appear as reply chips on the buyer's side, and on its own page the form behaves like a chat app, with the answer field sitting just above the phone keyboard so it is never covered. For Bagas, that means the card in the box opens something that looks like a message from the brand rather than a document to fill in. The QR code feedback guide walks through the whole setup.

Asking why buyers did not come back

Open text is useful, but most buyers will not type a paragraph on a phone. PingPolls gives Bagas sentiment cards for this, where buyers react to up to 20 short statements, such as "The size was right for me" or "I would buy this scent again," with an icon pair like like or dislike. The time each reaction took is recorded, and Certiscore™ turns that time into a signal of how sure the buyer was. A fast "dislike" on the price card reads differently from a slow one, and that helps Bagas decide which reason to raise with the product team first.

Certiscore is one more quality check, not a bot detector, and it cannot tell whether a person or a program answered. Read how we analyze answers if you want the detail.

Warranty registration and opt-in contact

The end of the form is where Bagas collects what the marketplace never gives him, with the buyer's consent. A phone number question has a country picker and formats the number as the buyer types, and pasting a number that starts with +62 switches the country to Indonesia when it is allowed. Mark the question as skippable, so the WhatsApp opt-in stays optional and buyers who only want to leave feedback can skip it. The point of the card is feedback, warranty registration and opt-in contact, so the buyer's marketplace order stays exactly where it is.

After they submit, a result page chosen by logic can confirm the warranty registration for the product they named, or show care tips for that product, using the buyer's own answers inside the page. Logic and custom fields are free on every PingPolls plan.

Where responses go next

Jotform sends submissions into Jotform Tables, where they appear automatically, and lists integrations such as Google Sheets, HubSpot, Salesforce and Slack, along with its payment gateways.

PingPolls sends each new response to spreadsheets such as Google Sheets, to chat apps (Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams and Telegram get a count-only notice, never the answers), to webhooks, Make and n8n, and to Odoo on Pro and Teams. HubSpot, Salesforce and Zapier show as Coming soon in the PingPolls Integrations tab, which means you can't connect them yet, so if your buyers need to land in HubSpot today, Jotform lists it. The integrations guide has the full list.

When Jotform is the better choice

Jotform is the better choice when the form has to take money, since it connects to payment gateways such as Stripe, PayPal and Square and PingPolls has no payment question. It also fits better when every submission needs to become a PDF, which its PDF Editor does automatically, or when you handle health information and need the HIPAA features Jotform lists on its Gold and Enterprise plans.

It also suits long forms with many fields, which Jotform itself says Classic forms handle best, and teams who want their submissions in a database like Jotform Tables.

When PingPolls is the better choice

PingPolls fits better when the job is a short, friendly feedback form that buyers open from a QR code on their phone. The chat format, sentiment cards and the confidence signal on each reaction give Bagas reasons he can rank by how many buyers chose them and how sure they were.

It also fits when you run many small forms, since the Free plan allows unlimited forms with 100 responses a month, and when you want each buyer to see a result page built from their own answers. Form screens come in 12 languages, which helps when the same packaging ships to more than one country.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I find the QR code in PingPolls?

In the form overview, open the Sharing tab. The QR code card encodes your form's PingPolls link or your custom-domain link, and you can download it as PNG or SVG for print.

Can I collect payments or order details in PingPolls?

No. PingPolls has no payment question. Use Jotform, or keep orders on the marketplace and use PingPolls for feedback.

Is the WhatsApp opt-in required?

Only if you make it required. Mark the phone question as skippable and buyers can leave feedback without sharing a number.

Is Certiscore a bot detector?

No. It turns the time each pick or reaction took into a signal of how sure the respondent was, as one more quality check.
